Day 1: Pickup from Nairobi and Transfer to Samburu Game Reserve
You will be picked up early morning from your hotel or airport and transported to Samburu Game Reserve. You’ll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to your lodge for supper and an overnight stay.
Samburu Game Reserve is breathtakingly gorgeous, with its dry savannah fed by the exquisite Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected locations, home to species found exclusively north of the equator, including the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and Beisa oryx.
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
You will embark on an early morning game drive from 6:00 to 9:30 a.m., then return to camp for a full meal and to freshen up. You will get an afternoon game drive from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. We’ll return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Kenya’s Samburu National Reserve is the only wildlife reserve where you may see Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. This is also one of Kenya’s parks where leopards may be easily spotted. We will seek uncommon animal species such as elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. They flourish on the reserve’s meadows and acacia forests. Samburu provides excellent wildlife watching, including the Big Five (lion, buffalo, elephant, and leopard).
Day 3: Transfer Back to Nairobi and Departure.
Wake up in time to have your breakfast and then check out of your lodge. You will meet your driver and embark on your return journey to Nairobi city with a stopover for lunch en route. Drop will be in Nairobi at a hotel of your choice or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, as you will advise.
