Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is one of Africa’s most famous parks, known for its boundless green plains and dubbed “Serengeti” by the Maasai. Home to the Great Migration of two million wildebeest and the continent’s largest concentrations of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, it ensures an unforgettable safari from some pleasant accommodations.
The Serengeti, which covers approximately 15,000 square kilometers, is famous for its infinite grasslands, according to the Maasai tribe. Home to the Big Five and the dramatic wildebeest migration, it is a must-see destination for wildlife enthusiasts. In the evening, you’ll return to your camp to unwind, have dinner, and retire for the night.

Awaken to the sounds of Africa before getting ready and traveling to the main area for breakfast. Afterward, your driver-guide will take you on a full-day wildlife drive across Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is well-known for its spectacular wildlife, including over 3,000 lions that may be seen lounging under trees for hours at a time. Elephants, Cape buffaloes, and a variety of bird species, including Kori bustards and Fischer’s lovebirds, are also possible sightings. Have your packed lunch and then embark on a 6-hour drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon your arrival, check into your lodge and have dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Drive and Transfer Back to Arusha
After breakfast, you will head for Ngorongoro Crater at 6:30 a.m. You’ll find unusual sights surrounding this historical caldera where humans and nature coexist without harming one another. Observe animals such as lions, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, warthogs, and zebras, as well as Lake Magadi, Lerai Forest, and Ngoitokito Swamp.
This remarkable volcanic caldera, located around 190 kilometers from Arusha, is home to over 25,000 huge creatures that rely on its lush grasslands, woods, and swamps for survival. Black rhinos, lions, leopards, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, and baboons may all be spotted here. After climbing from the crater, you will travel back to Arusha for a hotel overnight or transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your next departure.
