3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari : Kibale national park is located in south-western Uganda which harbours quite number of wildlife species that catch traveller’s eyes, its located in in district of kabarole which is a blessed land with strong cultural heritages. The park holds about 1500 chimpanzees in number and they can be visited in 1hour in case they a traced as the same as gorillas in other game parks.

Detailed itinerary
Day1: Pick up from Entebbe airport,
On your 1st day on your 3 days Chimpanzee trekking in kibale, there you will be provided by the tour guide from achieve safari who will pick you from Entebbe airport, he will first brief about the trip and himself. The distance from Kampala to kibale national park takes like 4 hours’ drive via mubende- fortportal road and you will have stopover in tourism district called fort portal for lunch then after lunch continue to viewing the beautiful sceneries of fort portal like crater lakes, some mountain Rwenzori ranges and the omukama palace with its attracting features. If time allows the guide may decide to stop at mabare nga nyina mwiru caves, then proceed to kibale national park in the late evening.dinner and overnight at chimpanzee forest Guest house or papaya lake lodge for luxury accomodations.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
After breakfast, the guide drives you for briefing about the rules and regulations about the chimpanzee trekking, the trekking takes about 30-40minutes according to where the chimpanzee would have slept. During trekking you will spot some wildlife species like birds, butterflies, plants and mammal. when you manage to spot the chimpanzee you can stay with them about 1 hour while studying learn, feed them, photos and videos can be taken but using less flash cameras.
After trekking, the guide will drive you back to your accommodation for lunch, after lunch you will have some exciting nature walk in bigodi sanctuary where you will be able to view different primates like black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, colourful butterflies among others. After swamp nature walk you will drive back to the lodge for evening/relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: depture to Kampala
On your 3rd day about Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale national park, you will have breakfast at your accommodation and then embark to Kampala. Have the route lunch before arriving in Kampala in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or place of residence.
